The Poles cave in to Middle East Extremists (of the Jewish variety)

Yessir, it's n t just the German opera companies caving, now we see the Polish Diplomatic Corps caving to threats from those midlle-eastern extremist Muslims, er, Jews.

OK, well the Jews making the threats weren't miiddle eastern, they were American...

And the object of their ire wasn't some heretic infidel, it was a fellow Jew!

In N.Y., Sparks Fly Over Israel Criticism

Polish Consulate Says Jewish Groups Called To Oppose Historian

NEW YORK -- Two major American Jewish organizations helped block a prominent New York University historian from speaking at the Polish consulate here last week, saying the academic was too critical of Israel and American Jewry.

The historian, Tony Judt, is Jewish and directs New York University's Remarque Institute, which promotes the study of Europe. Judt was scheduled to talk Oct. 4 to a nonprofit organization that rents space from the consulate. Judt's subject was the Israel lobby in the United States, and he planned to argue that this lobby has often stifled honest debate.

Sure, Dr. Judt is persona non grata with the American Jewish establishment becuase he is sharply critical of the State of Israel. But even the Israelis are more mature than the American Jewish establishment, after all the Zionist newspaper Ha'aretz had no problem printing an article by the good doctor.

Why do these self-appointed "guardians" of Jewish America feel the need to stifle debate about the State of Israel? Id it becuase they know that the case for Israel is weaker than they are willing to admit publically?
